Shu Pu-erh (ripe pu-erh) undergoes a controlled fermentation process that creates deep, earthy flavors and a smooth body.

Origin & Specifics

Velvet Forest comes from Lincang, Yunnan, a region famous for its ancient tea traditions. The tea is pressed into cakes and slowly matured to develop its rich profile.

Brewing Method

Use 95–100°C water.

Rinse the leaves briefly before brewing.

Steep 5 g per 200 ml for 20–30 seconds, increasing with each infusion.

Effect & Taste Profile

Velvet Forest produces a dark, velvety infusion with notes of forest floor, cacao, and warm spices. The tea is grounding and soothing, often enjoyed after meals.
